“Everyone’s Been Caning Me!” – Jude Bellingham Responds to Brother Jobe’s Goal as Sibling Rivalry Heats Up at Club World Cup

Jude Bellingham has playfully responded to the growing buzz around his younger brother Jobe Bellingham, after both siblings scored in back-to-back matches at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The Real Madrid star admitted he felt the pressure after Jobe netted his first goal for Borussia Dortmund, prompting Jude to respond with a goal of his own in Madrid’s 3-1 win over Pachuca.

“My brother’s goal yesterday on my mind? A little bit, I’ve gotta be honest. Everyone’s been caning me, saying he’s better than me. I had to do something today. We’re 1-1 now, we’ll see for the rest of the tournament,” Jude joked in a post-match interview.

⚽ Historic Moment for the Bellingham Brothers

The duo made history as the first siblings to score in the same Club World Cup, and potentially could face each other in the knockout stages, depending on group results. Jobe’s goal came in Dortmund’s thrilling 4-3 win over Mamelodi Sundowns, while Jude’s strike helped 10-man Madrid secure a crucial victory under new manager Xabi Alonso.

🩺 Jude’s Shoulder Surgery Update

Jude also confirmed he will undergo shoulder surgery after the tournament, having played through pain since late 2023.

“I’ve reached the point where the pain isn’t so bad, but I was sick of playing with the sling… I just want to feel free,” he said.
